Cineflix International strengthens sales squad with new striker
September, 2005 : Cineflix International Ltd, the London-based international television distribution company is gearing up for its next phase of growth by recruiting a new sales executive.
Sandra Piha will report directly to MD Paul Heaney, managing sales to the Nordic territories as well as North and Latin America and joins Kate Llewellyn-Jones to complete the sales team.
Piha’s last role was as Head of International Sales and Rights Management at World of Wonder Productions.
Paul Heaney said of his latest recruit: “Sandra is clearly a brilliant salesperson and team player, qualities that are much desired and rarely found – the territories she’ll be managing are very important to the expansion of the company so we’re really excited about welcoming her to CID.”
With the team replete with talent, Cineflix International is set to unveil its MipCom slate, including key properties from within the Cineflix stable as well as 3rd party product.
The Channel 7 production, Border Security is the leading 3rd party property as it has been the 4th highest rated show throughout the whole of Australia since its launch in October of 2004. The series takes us behind-the-scenes through Australian Immigration, Customs and Quarantine departments.
From the same producer comes Medical Emergencies which has recently found a UK broadcast slot at cabsat channel, UKTV.
From within the Cineflix production stable, CID will be presenting a range of productions, amongst them, Baby Squad, a 10×30 series which in the UK is an AFP collaboration with baby food manufacturer, Cow and Gate for UKTV.
