Cineflix expands Factual Entertainment unit. Company Appoints Peter Jamieson as Executive Producer
*October 6, 2006 : *Cineflix announced today plans to expand its production team with the appointment of Executive Producer Peter Jamieson to the company’s Factual Entertainment unit.
Jamieson will join Factual Entertainment Executive Producer Philip Whelan in overseeing the company’s successful factual entertainment line-up.
“Peter’s experience in documentary film and popular factual and arts programming will be a great asset as we continue to expand our factual entertainment slate,” said Cineflix President of Programming Simon Lloyd. “Peter’s keen eye for creating stories that are lively and entertaining will bring a new dimension of quality programs to the company.”

Over the past two years Jamieson has worked at UK based Princess Productions, Series Producing Bump and Grind and developing pilot series including The Search, an international history-mystery quest series. Previously Jamieson Series Produced and Directed on the world cinema series Moving Pictures, Wall to Wall’s The Media Show, Minnie Driver’s Excellent Adventure, Louis Theroux’s Wild Weekend and the award-winning Bravo series Popular Song/Walk on By. Jamieson also acted as and Executive at Ideal World Productions, steering series like Location Location Location to the top of the ratings table over five series.
