Cineflix Programming Divisions Expand With Sixty New Hours

Cineflix President of Programming Simon Lloyd announced today that the company has greenlit over sixty hours of new programming and popular returning series from its Factual and Factual Entertainment divisions.

“This new slate offers the international television audience a solid mix of programmes, produced with a fantastic range of broadcasters, while also benefiting from the best possible talent from both sides of the Atlantic,” said Lloyd.

Paradise Lost (8×60), scheduled to debut on Discovery HD in Canada and Five in the U.K., presents stories of real-life exotic adventures that became terrifying ordeals overnight. For Global comes Cold Blood (10×60) the series that follows forensic investigators as they attempt to crack murder cases. Mayday also returns for a seventh season (8×60) on Discovery Channel Canada (Air Crash Investigation on National Geographic Channels International). Featuring news footage, interviews and gripping reenactments, the series investigates aviation disasters to find out what went wrong – and why.

From the company’s Factual Entertainment division come two all-new property series with broadcast partner HGTV; The Unsellables (13×30) and Rental Virgins (13×30), while a fourth season of Wedding SOS (13×30) begins production in April for Slice™. Colin & Justin’s Home Heist also returns for a second hit season on HGTV Canada (26 X 60).
