London-based international television distribution company Cineflix International continues to bolster its team with the hiring of Diane Rankin as Head of Acquisitions.

Rankin is joining Cineflix from the position of VP of Events & International Business Development at Brunico, where she oversaw leading international media events, including KidScreen Summit & Realscreen Summit, servicing and negotiating contracts with international independent Television producers from every level. Prior to that, she was the VP/Group Publisher across a portfolio of media publications.

Rankin steps into the newly created position of Head of Acquisitions for Cineflix International with a mandate to substantially increase the number of Indie titles in the Cineflix library and to negotiate representation agreements with leading producers and programme makers. She will play a key role in Cineflix International’s continued growth as one of the leading distributors of factual programming. “Diane is exactly the sort of person we want to attract to work with our team,” says Paul Heaney. “She has an enviable contact list, lengthy experience in our industry and great character, all attributes that I believe will make her a massive success here”.

A growing distributor of factual programming, Cineflix International distributes up to 1000 hours of programming to 150 broadcasters worldwide. The programmes include select indie produced titles and programmes produced by Cineflix, a dynamic, independent television production company.
