500 HOURS SOLD
Cineflix International is maintaining its remarkable track record in the Nordic territories again securing deals involving more than 500 hours of programming over the past 6 months.
Recent highlights see MipTV’s headline property Eat Yourself Sexy sold to MTV Finland, TV3 in Norway and TV4 Sweden.
The Border Security franchise continues to be popular across the region with Cineflix International now representing all 5 series of the original Channel 7 Australia show. The company also recently acquired the US version which was produced for ABC, known as_ Homeland Security_, and featuring unprecedented access to the US Department of Homeland Security.
Internationally known as Border Security USA, the show has sold out in Scandinavia going to TV2 Denmark, Viasat 4 Norway, Nelonen Finland and Kanal 5 Sweden.
In addition, TV2 Denmark went for the original series 1 to 4, Channel Four in Finland went for 2 to 4 and Kanal 5 AB in Sweden claiming 1 to 5. TV Norge in Norway also went for the original series 1 to 3 which follows the expert team as they protect Australia’s borders intercepting suspicious travelers, uncovering evidence of drug trafficking, wildlife smuggling and identity fraud.
Then on to The Unsellables starring Sofie Allsopp, a show which recently aired on BBC1 to a very positive response and which has seen TV Norge in Norway taking both series and Channel Four Finland following suit.
Then World’s Greenest Homes, a show which takes an exclusive tour around thirteen episodes of the most awesome eco-houses on the planet has seen its first series snapped up by TV Puls in Denmark with the second placed firmly on schedules at TV Norge in Norway and at Kanal 5 AB in Sweden.
Finally on to Cineflix’s multiplatform content with Cooler Facts, a collection of six episodes or 38 shorts that use state-of-the-art, computer-generated graphics to explain the wonderful workings of our world and delivers them in a themed narrative that will fascinate audiences.
Channel Four in Finland and NRK have both picked up these episodes to use as interstitials.
