Cineflix International boosts MIPCOM slate with The Ultimates
September, 2003 : Cineflix International Ltd, the London-based international television distribution arm of Canadian production company Cineflix is presenting a brand new documentary co-production about pushing speed and power to the limit at MIPCOM 2003.
The Ultimates is a 6X1 hour technology series with ‘attitude’, co-produced by Cineflix in association Wark Clements in Scotland and London-based One on One Productions and Pioneer Productions.

The Ultimates will focus on the creation and scientific research behind notorious war-time explosions, the worst collisions in sports car history, supersonic trains, roller-coasters, and the world’s most advanced fighting machines – strike planes and attack helicopters.
The series will also look at the designers and creators whose obsession with speed and power pushes them to join the dog-eat-dog race for military, mechanical and technological superiority. Broadcasting in Autumn 2003 on Channel 5 in the U.K, Discovery Europe, Discovery Canada and Canal D, The Ultimates is executive produced by Glen Salzman, André Barro, David Darlow, Alan Clements and Stuart Carter.
